Basic Overview of Today's Lesson
- In today's lesson, we are going to viewing/reviewing the many clubs, sports, and activities offered here at Lee High School.
- Fall sports are still accepting athletes/players and our clubs are a GREAT opportunity for students to get involved in the community, build leadership skills, and further their own personal development.
- Advisory teachers should guide their students through the Google Slides Presentation and help explain what each activity is about and how their Lancer Time students could benefit from joining each activity.
- Personally, (Mr. Trotman speaking here), I want to see EVERY student involved in a LEAST one extracurricular activity where they can further their own self-esteem and identify as a feel a part of our famiLee.
Structure of Today's Lesson:
- ALL Students will check-in with their advisory teachers first.
- Advisory teachers should take role
- Students with passes to go to the Activities Fair directly after checking-in with their
Please READ THIS and FOLLOW DIRECTIONS:
- Advisory will be broken into two parts (1st half and 2nd half).
- ALL Students must go with the class to the Activities Fair...sorry----you cannot sit out on this one!
- 1st Half
- Downstairs hallways will be going through the Google Slides Presentation as a class (projector-style)
- Upstairs classrooms will be dismissed BY HALLWAY COLOR (please see attached map) to the Activities Fair.
- Start with the indicated location first and then rotate to the other gymnasium.
- Auxiliary Gym (Clubs)---Blue and Red Hallways will start here and then rotate to the Main Gym
- Main Gym (Sports)---Peach and Gold Hallways will start here and then rotate to the Auxiliary Gym
- Classes will spend approximately 12 minutes in the two different gyms. There will be a countdown clock but I also ask Advisory Teachers to keep track of the time as well.
- PLEASE stay together as an advisory class (I know this is going to be challenging but I'm hoping for some amazing Kindergarten lines---treat this like a "guided tour")
- Upstairs classrooms are expected to return to their classes after the "tour" of the Activities Fair and begin their Google Slides Presentation
- Second Half
- Upstairs hallways will be going through the Google Slides Presentation as a class (projector-style)
- Downstairs classrooms will be dismissed BY HALLWAY COLOR (please see attached map) to the Activities Fair.
