W elcome to Advisory 19-20 |
The main point of advisory is to give each student in the building at least one adult and a group of classmates who can help with any academic, social, and emotional needs.
Your advisory is your first level of support! You will be with them all four years. You will work together as a team to earn rewards and to help navigate struggles each of you face while in high school. Basically, your advisory is your family !
Every Monday will be an academic check up day!
Every Friday will be a team building challenge.
Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday lessons could include:
Personal & Academic Goal Setting
MYP Learner Profile Exploration
Sustained Silent Reading
Computer Skill Development
The schedule for every 4th period will be:
9:45 AM - 10:15 AM
Advisory Activity
10:15 AM - 10:20 AM
Passing, if necessary
10:20 AM - 11:14 AM
