    • Women's History month 
    • Women's Suffrage Movement
    • 19th Amendment

So that we can:

  • Consider what it was like when not all citizens had the right to vote
  • More fully appreciate the rights of all citizens to participate and vote in a democratic society

  • 2020 Women's Vote Centennial Initiative: The mission of the 2020 Women’s Vote Centennial Initiative (WVCI) is to serve as a central organizing and information-sharing entity for programs, projects, and activities that commemorate the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, educate the public on the legal and social advances resulting from the amendment, and stimulate dialogue to address the ongoing fight for women’s rights. 
  • 1920-2020 Women's Vote Centennial: to commemorate and coordinate the nationwide celebration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment and to educate the American people about the efforts and undertakings of the women's suffrage movement in the United States in a nonpartisan fashion.
