Today's Agenda

Topic Selection

Today you will:

  1. Actively participate in today's health and wellness book explore.
  2. Meet with your group and discuss which topics are of interest to you.
  3. Select your group's top 3 choices.
  4. Sign up for a topic with your teacher.
Researching

Today you will:

  1. Log in to Noodletools using your google account and set up your account (if you have not already done so this year).
  2. Have 1 responsible person in your group start a Noodletools Project for the health fair
  3. Responsible person: Share your project with: 
    1. your teacher's inbox (follow librarian instruction)
    2. with your group members (follow librarian instructions)
  4. All Group members: check your projects and make sure you can see the shared project.  

Health and Wellness Fair Explore

Today you will:

  1. Explore several health and wellness fairs by watching videos 
  2. After reviewing the videos (several times) and reading the planning documents, discuss with your table:
  • What is the purpose of health and wellness fairs?
  • What did you learn about health fairs? 
  • What inspired you? 
  • What strategies did students use to engage their audiences in health topics?
  1. Lastly, review the "Investigate" portion of the rubric
    • What does investigating look lke?
    • How can you individually contribute to the success of your group?
    • How can your group work together to succeed?
  2. BONUS: If time permits, explore and review the health fair planning documents on this page.
