Why use the Britannica ImageQuest database?

Images are also protected under copyright and you should only be using images you are legally allowed to use.  All images in this database are legal to use! 

You will find good pictures in Britannica ImageQuest, but not as many images as you may be used to in Google Images.  That's Ok!  

Here are a few ways to find a wide variety of pictures (that you can legally use!):

• Expand your search beyond your god or goddess.
  • What is your god's domain?
    • For example, Zeus is known for lightening bolts, so you can search for "lightening".
  • Does your god carry or wear anything noteworthy?
  • Where does your god live?
