| Noodletools: Step by step - citing sources |

Book
- Select: New Source
- Choose “print or in-hand” tab
- Choose “book” from “what is it” list
- Find ISBN on book (back cover or copyright page)
- Most times, DO NOT fill in boxes INSTEAD
- Find “World Cat” search box

- In box to right of ISBN, type in the ISBN from the book (NO dashes)
- Click “Search”
- Check to be sure that the correct book comes up
- Highlight (just click) on the citation
- Click “Import Selected Source”
- Click “Continue”
- Check for any red squiggly lines or yellow triangles ▲ & correct
- Click “Save”
- Check formatting of citation
- Capitalization, italization, dates, etc.

Website
- Select: New Source
- Choose “website” from noodletools tabs
- Be sure to have your website open
- Determine what type of source you are viewing on the website.
- Example - “Blog”
- Fill in as much information as possible
- Click “save”
- Check formatting of the citation
- Capitalization, fonts, dates, etc.
** For the 2 PDF sources: “Findings of New Satellite Image Analysis” and “Poems for Kim” use the directions for citing a website - and select: “webpage“ for the type of source.

Audio Podcast
- Select: New Source
- Choose “website” from noodletools tabs
- Choose “Audio Podcast” from “what is it” list
- Fill in as much information as possible
- Click “save”
- Check formatting of citation
- Capitalization, italization, dates, etc.

- Select: New Source
- Choose “other” from noodletools tabs
- Select “CD-ROM etc”
- Select Film or video
- Fill in as much information as possible
- Click “save”
- Check formatting of the citation
- Capitalization, fonts, dates, etc.
