How do I cite a book?     

Common elements to look for include:

  • Author(s)
  • Title and subtitle
  • Illustrator, translator or other contributor  
  • Series name (if applicable)
  • Edition (if applicable)
  • Publisher’s name and imprint
  • Most recent copyright date
