Step 1: Search Access Science using a subtopic related to your topic.

  • Find and read the definition of the subtopic you are researching
  • Make a note of keywords that you find in the definition

Step 2: Review the top 5 results in Access Science 

  • Select an article to read
  • Create a citation for the article in Noodletools
  • Create 2 notecards for the article in Noodletools 
  • Continue to pay attention to keywords used in the article
  • Consider doing a second search in Access Science using different keywords.

Step 3: Based on your initial research as a group, Individually find an article to cite and create notecards.

  • Expand your database options - try Science in Context (Gale) or Britannica School 
  • Groups are required to have a minimum of 3 sources and 6 notecards
