Essential Questions for Reading

While reading, these are some essential questions to consider and share:

  • How does your experience connect to your reading?
  • What are examples from the text of microaggressions, racism, or white privilege?
  • After reading the text you selected, what is one change you can make to be antiracist?
  • Do books have the power to create change?  Why or why not?
