Finding Images: 

How to find images 

  • Use Britannica ImageQuest to search for images
  • Don't forget to include the brief citation under the image 

Helpful Hints:

You will find good pictures in Britannica ImageQuest, but not as many images as you may be used to in Google Images.  That's Ok!  Here are a few ways to find a wide variety of pictures (that you can legally use!):

  • expand your search consider symbols
  • cons or related ideas that might make good visuals
  • sort results

Remember that you should use images that are part of the creative commons or available for student use through school purchased databases. Use the resources below!
